Welcome to Jay Hooker Photography Palm Springs, where I hope my Photography will transport you to my world of photographic expression. I hope you enjoy the journey. Please return often for new and exciting pieces. Photography has always been my passion. Whether it is journalistic in nature, landscape, portrait or fashion. I try and capture the spirit and heartbeat that will evoke an emotion in the viewer. Does my piece tell a story? Is it poetic, unique and artistic? Regardless of what I’m shooting on any given day, it is my hope that my art leaves space for the viewer’s imagination and intellectual interpretation. For the past year I’ve broaden into mixed media which allows me to combine elements of my graphics and digital techniques into one photo art piece, or a photo art montage as I sometimes refer to them. Two of my most recent series are “Erotic Fantasy” and Mixed Media Fantasy.
